I would be curious of what the average American thinks of the recent events in Iran. There's seems to be a sense of over excitement in the US and Europe about the demonstrations but i'm hearing quite a bit of superficial analysis, as if all the problems of the Middle East would be solved if Ahmedinejad was no longer in power (reminds of discourse of pre-Iraq war). The Iranian street is proving powerful and courageous, so doesn't it make sense for the US to lay low for now and wait for events to take their course?

I am thinking in some questions:
What will happen if Ahmedinajad insists on the Iranian nuclear program, will the war be the next step after the American silence?
Why do we think that Mousavi is better than Ahmedinajad?
Media may be the most effective element in changing the situation in Iran and the Middle East area?
