Egyptian police have arrested three suspects on account of the drive-by shootout following the Coptic Christmas eve mass.

The clashes that broke out in Egypt’s southern town of Naga Hamady post the shooting where 7 were killed continue, with Muslims and Christians burning each other’s homes and properties.

Prior to the shooting, Muslim residents of Naga Hamady had burnt and destroyed Christian properties for several days in November, following the rape of a 12-year-old Muslim girl by a Christian man.
